Terms, privacy and cookies

Docrr is a self assessment aid, not an authority. Always check your scores against the official guidance for your own recruitment round, because rubrics change every year and between nations.

Docrr is a self assessment aid and planning tool. It is not careers advice, it is not affiliated with any recruitment body, and a Docrr score is not a prediction of the score an assessor will give you.

The data controller is Catherine Otoibhi, Flat 3, The Pinnacle, Cottage Terrace, NG1 5AS. For anything about your data, email hello@docrr.co.uk.

Your name, email address, grade, hospital and GMC number, plus the portfolio information you enter and the files you upload. Nothing more. We do not sell data or run advertising.

Your data is stored in the UK and touches these processors:

• Supabase — database and file storage, hosted in London.
• Vercel — hosting and serving the site (a US company).
• OpenAI — processes the text you type into the eportfolio and QI generators, only when you press generate. Not used to train their models under their API terms.
• Resend — sends transactional email (a US company).
• Stripe — payments. Your card details go to Stripe directly and never touch Docrr's servers.

Where a processor is outside the UK, transfers rest on the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses or a UK adequacy decision.

Anything you put in the evidence vault (certificates, letters, publications) is treated as confidential. It is stored privately, visible only to you, and used for nothing except showing it back to you. Delete a file and it is gone.

We process your data under UK GDPR: on the basis of contract for running your account and subscription, and consent for the waiting list emails you explicitly opt into.

Your account data is kept while the account exists. You can download everything from the Account tab, and you can delete your account yourself from the same tab — deletion is immediate and removes everything, including uploaded files. Waiting list emails are kept until the promised email is sent or you ask to come off the list. Anonymous usage counts are kept up to 24 months. Provider backups expire on a rolling schedule of about 30 days.

Full refund within 7 days of your first payment if Docrr is not what you expected — email hello@docrr.co.uk or use the feedback form. Cancel a monthly plan and you keep access to the end of the period you paid for. Cancel an annual plan and you keep access for the rest of the year. You cancel yourself any time from the Account tab.

The statutory position, stated plainly: under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a service bought online. Docrr is a digital service supplied immediately, so at checkout you are asked to expressly agree that access starts straight away and that this waives the 14-day statutory right. Docrr's own 7-day money-back promise applies regardless, so in practice you are never worse off than the statute.

Docrr sets the cookies needed to keep you signed in, and nothing else. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.
